Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, United Community Bank Ice on Main is an open-air ice skating rink – the only one of its kind in Upstate South Carolina. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 6-8 p.m.: United Community Bank Family Night – Make family time skating time at United Community Bank Ice on Main Family Night. From 6-8 p.m. at the rink, enjoy a free child’s ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket. This is the first of two remaining Family Nights for the season, so don’t miss out!
Thursday, Jan. 9, 6-8 p.m.: Greenville Water Night – Greenville Water will provide free admission for the first 250 skaters at United Community Bank Ice on Main from 6-8 p.m. Rowdy, the Greenville Road Warriors Mascot, will also make a special appearance at the rink to hand out vouchers for BOGO admission to a Road Warriors game.
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 7-9 p.m.:Palmetto Curling Club Event – Lace up your skates and hit the ice for a lesson with the Palmetto Curling Club (PCC). Curling is a winter sport that involves sliding large stones across a surface of ice towards segmented target areas. Members of the PCC will be on site to provide more information about curling and offer patrons the opportunity to try the sport. Interview: Beau Welling or Anne Wiggins, members of the PCC.
